WHEREAS, the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee (RSCC) through NSCB Resolution NO. 1 series of 1992 can create task forces to address specific statistical issues;

WHEREAS, the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) through Resolution No. 1, Series of 1992 and NSCB Memorandum Circular No.

WHEREAS, as provided for in Article II of the NSCB Resolution No. 1, Series of 1992, the composition of the RSCC in CAR may be modified "to provide flexibility in its operations;"

WHEREAS, the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee was created through NSCB Resolution No. 1 and the NSCB Memorandum Circular No.

WHEREAS, as provided for in Article II of the NSCB Resolution No. 1, Series of 1992, at leas two (2) representatives from the private sector will be identified by the Committee's government representatives;

WHEREAS, the Department of Toruism in the Cordillera Administrative Region (DOT-CAR) is the agency concerned with he collection of data on tourist arrivals and other tourism statistics;

WHEREAS, there remains a high demand for quality statistical information that is relevant, accurate and timely fro planning and decision-making by the government and the private sector;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Statistical System (PSS) is a highly decentralized system where many agencies gather, compile, process and disseminate data in accordance with their respective mandates;

WHEREAS, the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee – Cordillera Administrative Region (RSCC-CAR) passed Resolution No.

WHEREAS, the region needs direction and guidance in its statistical activities in order to address regional/local issues as well as national government concerns;
