WHEREAS, the Philippines is committed to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which consists of 17 development goals, 169 targets and 232 indicators covering economic, social, and environmental dimensions of development;

WHEREAS, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a plan of action for people, planet, and prosperity. It also seeks to strengthen universal peace in larger freedom. All countries and all stakeholders, acting in a collaborative partnership, will implement this plan;

WHEREAS, RA No. 10625 states that the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) serves as the central statistical authority  of the Philippine government on primary data collection;

WHEREAS, PSA Board Resolution No. 4, series of 2016 mandates the PSA as the official repository of SDG indicators in the Philippines;

WHEREAS, in recognition of the need to generate regional and/or provincial data on SDGs, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) Regional Statistical Development Program (RSDP) 2017-2023 devoted a chapter on the Localization of the SDG Indicators (Chapter 6) that outlines the available indicators in the region and data source agencies, among other;

WHEREAS, to provide data support for the monitoring of the region's progress in attaining the SDGs, it is vital that the Regional Statistics Committee to institutionalize the provision of data support for the generation of SDG indicators of CAR;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, BE IT:

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Committee duly assembled enjoins all concerned government instrumentalities to provide data support in monitoring the region's performance on SDG based on the indicator framework prepared;

RESOLVED FURTHER that the concerned government agencies shall provide their available  SDG data starting CY 2015 and regularly submit updates upon availability to PSA Regional Statististical Services Office-CAR (RSSO-CAR);

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE that PSA RSSO-CAR shall develop and maintain an SDG web page on the PSA RSSO-CAR website (rssocar.psa.gov.ph); and compile and maintain an SDG Indicators Database and prepare and regularly update the SDG Watch;

RESOLVED FINALY, that PSA RSSO-CAR shall regularly report to the Committee updates on the monitoring of SDG indicators of the region.
