The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) recently conducted the 2023 Updating of the List of Establishments (ULE) Second Level Training on Machine Processing from June 06 to 09, 2023 at Lafaayette Luxury Suites, Baguio City.

PSA Service and Industry Census Division Senior Statistical Specialist Raychell S. Embile served as the resource person for the said training discussing several topics such as the introduction on ULE, Coding of economic activities using the 2009 Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC) with 2019 updates, and hands-on Business Register Integrated Monitoring and Processing System (BRIMPS).

Assistant Statistician Nico L. Pagaduan of PSA - Cordillera Administrative Region discussed the duties and responsibilities of field personnel involved, ULE machine processing activities, and timetable of machine processing activities.

Machine processing of data will be done for all uploaded records, records from the Computer-Aided Web Interview (CAWI), and data entered through the Data Entry Module in BRIMPS (if any).

PSA enjoins the public to support the 2023 ULE and other surveys, by providing truthful information when being interviewed by PSA’s staff and/or hired enumerators. All information collected from the sample households are kept in strict confidentiality and are not used for purposes of taxation, investigation or regulation as provided under Article 55 of RA 10625.
