WHEREAS, Presidential Proclamation No. 647 was issued in September 20, 1990 declaring the month of October every year as the National Statistics Month(NSM), and National Statistical Coordination Board(NSCB) Resolution No.

WHEREAS, as approved for in the Article II of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Board Resolution No.

WHEREAS, the region needs direction and guidance in its statistical activities in oreder to address regional/local issues as well as national government concerns;

WHEREAS, Presidential Proclamation No. 647 was issued in September 20, 1990 declaring the month of October every year as the National Statistics Month;

WHEREAS, Chapter I, Sec. 2 of the R.A.

WHEREAS, the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee (RSCC) through NSCB Resolution No. 1 series of 1992 can create task forces to address specific statistical issues;

WHEREAS, Presidential Proclamation No. 647 was issued in September 20, 1990 declaring the month of October every year as the National Statistics Month;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Standard Occupational Classification (PSOC) is a statistical classification of the different occupations of the population used to ensure uniformity and comparability of occupational statistics compiled in the country;

WHEREAS, the region needs direction and guidance in its statistical activities in order to address regional/local issues as well as national government concerns;

WHEREAS, the National Statistics Month or NSM is celebrated every October annually pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 647 dated September 20, 1990 signed by then President Corazon C. Aquino;
