The cybersecurity assessment was successfully conducted on July 4 by PSA personnel coming from the Philippine Statistics Authority Central Office’ Infrastructure and System Management Division, and Information Cybersecurity Division. The team was composed of Information Technology Officer II Alvin Genota and Information Systems Analyst I Jianne Paolo Alcantara, and Computer Maintenance Technologist II  Ralph Daniel Bagaoisan. The assessment, which was attended by some Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) personnel, was aimed to gather information about cybersecurity practices and infrastructure, and the level of preparedness against cyber threats. Backup and data protection are among those discussed. Moreover, Network and Resource assessment included issues on network connectivity and registration process, backend system assessment, configurations and many more. The team also provided recommendations to PSO-Apayao thru the attendees, particularly the Information Systems Analysts.
