The PSA - Apayao Provincial Statistical Office commenced its first presentation of the preliminary results of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (2024 CBMS) that was conducted in the third quarter of the previous year. Hon. Zaira Erika Caluya, vice-mayor who represented the mayor, welcomed the participants and would love to see the clear picture of the situation being a new elected official.

The presentation focused on the definitions of household, household members, reference period of the household population enumerated, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) generated local-level indicators by barangay of Luna municipality. This activity is aimed to get insights pertaining to the preliminary data presented at MLGU-Luna conference hall on 22 July 2025 AM. It was participated by heads and representatives of the Municipal Police Station and various offices of the MLGU. In answer to queries, Chief Statistical Specialist Geoffrey B. Calimuhayan emphasized the concepts used, and also informed the body that PSA has hired field verifiers, and hopefully those raised will be addressed before the turnover of 2024 POPCEN-CBMS final results to the provincial and municipal local government units. In concluding the event, he asked for the continuing support from past to new administration as the data is for the use of local planners.
