WHEREAS,  Article II of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Board Resolution No. 5 Series of 2015, the Regional Statistics Committee(RSC) may modify its composition to provide flexibility in its operations;

WHEREAS, during the 1^st quarter RSC Meeting held last 21 of March 2016, it was agreed that the private sector representative be invited to be a member of the Committee;

WHEREAS , during the 2nd Consultation with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) conducted by NEDA-CAR last 27 July 2016, invitation to interested CSOs to be a private sector representative to the RSC-CAR was presented; 

WHEREAS, as a result of the CSO consultation, Mr. Rafael Gayaso, the Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Luzon Federation of Cooperatives and Development Center (NORLU CEDEC) signified his interest to join the Committee;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Committee approves the membership of Mr. Rafael Gayaso of NORLU CEDEC as private sector representative to the RSC-CAR.
