One way to strengthen the services of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is through collaboration with different agencies. PSA-Mountain Province, together with various agencies, participated in the Post Lang-ay Job Fair organized by the Provincial Local Government Unit of Mountain Province. The activity was conducted at the Multipurpose Building, Poblacion, Bontoc on 23-24 April 2025.

The job fair also featured a one-stop-shop. Available services of the PSA are national ID registration and issuance of national ID in paper form. Assistance in the generation of the digital national ID was also rendered to the registrants. This aims to bring the national ID closer and give easier access not only to the job seekers but also to the visitors who were not yet registered.

Further, an information dissemination was conducted to the attendees reiterating the non-acceptance and prohibition of double registration in the national ID. Registration Officer II Jonah T. Langpawen informed that any entity who do not accept the national ID without proper authentication may be reported and subject to punishment as stated in the Implementing Rules and Regulations. She added that any individual who registered twice is considered to have committed a fraudulent act. She requested everyone to be honest if they already registered, as this may also cause delays in the standard verification process and issues with ID processing.

Through this partnership, 11 individuals were registered, 13 were issued with national ID in paper form, and 4 were assisted in generating their digital national ID. Moreover, the significance of the national ID was appreciated, particularly by the applicants who do not possess any other government IDs.

PSA- Mountain Province still continues to actively collaborate with partner agencies in advocating its services and ensure to provide a smooth, enhanced, and inclusive identification system.
