He explained what PhilSys is all about and the three (3) steps of the registration. Mr. Aveño also mentioned the Issuance of Printable ePhilIDs. He introduced how Printable ePhilID works and how it looked like. In the integration plan, a part of it is to authenticate PhilIDs and ePhilIDs. PFP Aveño then discussed the PhilSys Check and presented an AVP about it. He demonstrated to the participants how the PhilSys Check works. He also discussed the benefits of PhilSys and how the PhilSys is compliant to the Data Privacy Act. He also enumerated the roles of LGU in the implementation of PhilSys. PFP Aveño presented the accomplishment status of registration and issuance of printable ePhilIDs provincewide and then proceeded in discussing the PhilSys Integration Implementation Plan (PIIP) template. He showed how and what to fill-out in each part of the said template. He also provided the addresses where to send the accomplished PIIP form. CSS Perdido gave further explanation of the topics during the presentation of PFP Aveño. After the discussion, questions were raised. Among the questions were: “How will they insert on their citizen’s charter the PhilSys?”, “What are the remedies if the locals haven’t received their PhilIDs or ePhilIDs yet?” and “Will they still be accommodated in the process?” Such questions were clarified by CSS Perdido and PFP Aveño. Present during the activity were LGU department heads and representatives. All the participants had their afternoon snack. The activity ended at 3:40PM with a photo opportunity of the PSA personnel and the LGU employees.
