City of Baguio – Despite the gloomy weather brought by the Low-Pressure Area and the southwest monsoon, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Benguet Provincial Statistical Office successfully launched the 'Rehistro Bulilit' National ID and Information Awareness Campaign at the Barangay Hall, Irisan, Baguio City.


The campaign, held on August 31, 2024, aimed to register Filipino children aged 1-4 years old in the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). A total of 7 children aged 1-4 years were registered under the Step 2 Registration process. Additionally, 19

individuals aged 5 and above participated in the registration, while 2 individuals completed the process for the Updating of Demographics.


In conjunction with the campaign, the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) conducted an Information Education Campaign (IEC) at the event. The BRAP team engaged with the community and listed four individuals for verification to assist those seeking to acquire primary identification.

The PSA Benguet's continuous effort to reach communities, even in challenging weather conditions, reflects their commitment to making government services accessible to all, particularly in the registration of children at an early age. This event marks another step forward in achieving inclusive and comprehensive national identification for all Filipinos.
