NID Personnel conducting registration and updating of demographic information.

The Philippine Statistics Authority – Mountain Province stands firm in its commitment to inclusivity and accessibility through the continuous implementation of the National ID.

Through the joint effort of PSA-Mountain Province and the Municipal Local Government Unit of Barlig, the National ID personnel reached the municipality to bring its services to the community on 07 August 2025.

Registration Officer II Jonah T. Langpawen started by providing a brief overview of the activity. She mentioned that National ID registration includes every Filipino of all ages. Individuals who previously registered are not allowed to register again hence, updating is needed in case of correction or changes in their demographic information. They were also reminded to secure appropriate supporting documents before proceeding with their transaction. Langpawen added that they may approach any personnel in case of inquiries or any clarifications.

Meanwhile, the Local Civil Registry Office headed by Municipal Civil Registrar      Julie O. Lamtocon, supported the activity by providing assistance in verifying the correct information of the registrants through their available records. They issued local civil registry documents to those who do not have supporting documents.

Following are some of the services offered during the activity:
1.    National ID registration
2.    Updating of demographic information
3.    Issuance of national ID in paper form
4.    Retrieval of transaction reference number (TRN)
5.    Assistance in accessing the digital national ID through the eGovPH application

It was successfully carried out with a total of 51 individuals served. Specifically, 34 individuals registered, 7 national ID cards updated, 6 national ID in paper form issued, 6 TRN retrieval, and 2 individuals assisted in accessing their digital national ID.

PSA-Mountain Province is grateful for the support of the LGU and acknowledging the significance of the National ID.
