The 2024 endeavor for the National ID of the Philippine Statistics Authority - Mountain Province resulted to the successful registration of 123,844 individuals as of 31 December 2024. This involves the collection of demographic information and capturing of biometric information such as iris scan, fingerprints, and front-facing photograph.

In accordance with the IRR of R.A. 11055, the Philippine Identification System has introduced some of its new services in the year 2024. This includes the updating of demographic information which started around May and the digital national ID was launched in June. Further, the inclusion of children below five years old in the registration was fully implemented. With these new services, the province intensified its coordination with different schools and child development centers to ensure that children within this age bracket will be registered.

To make the registration more accessible, PhilSys personnel collaborates with institutions, Local Government Units, and even joining activities or social gatherings to bring the registration directly to the community. The province also responds to the requests to undertake house-to-house registration, especially to individuals who are differently abled or those with limited mobility.

PSA Mountain Province has also been engaging with the public to promote the importance and uses of the national ID. An information, education and communication campaign was likewise conducted during public gatherings. The Do’s and Don’ts were shared to avoid delays in the process of their national ID cards and to prevent them from doing unnecessary acts that will lead to fine and penalties.

The continued effort of the province added a total of 583 registrants in January 2025. Overall, Mountain Province has already registered 124,427 Filipinos. This accounts to 86.29% of the adjusted target population of the province but 78.65% of the total population as per 2020 Census of Population and Housing.

Table 1 below presents the detailed number of registrants by municipality since the national ID has been implemented in June 2021.
