17-18 July 2025 - IFUGAO. Following the completion of the six-day training, data collection for the July 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) and 2025 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) Visit 1 began on 8 July 2025 and will continue until 31 July 2025. Five Team Supervisors and fifty Statistical Researchers have been deployed to cover all sampled barangays across the province of Ifugao.

To maintain and verify quality standards regarding the ongoing data collection, Osvaldo P. Cofolan, Statistical Specialist II of PSA RSSO - CAR, conducted field supervision in selected sample areas of Ifugao. On July 17, 2025, he first visited Tam-an, Banaue to evaluate the work progress of Statistical Researcher Rochelle Cabbigat, who was supported by Team Supervisor Grail Oybon. Later that day, he went to Lucban, Lamut to supervise the activities of Statistical Researcher Elaine Ligaya Aydinan with Team Supervisor Shyra Jevie Bulayo. On July 18, together with PSO - Ifugao Supervising Statistical Specialist Jocelyn O. Tayaban they proceeded to Munggayang, Kiangan to monitor the activities of Kayle Ann Gumayon, a Statistical Researcher, along with her Team Supervisor, Beviane Maimban. These visits, which are part of routine monitoring processes, were designed to ensure that field protocols are adhered to and to provide direct support advice to the field personnel.

The results from the LFS and FIES will play a crucial role in formulating policies and programs for the country’s socio-economic development. Rest assured all information obtained from individuals during the survey operation will be kept strictly confidential as provided in Article 55 and Section 27 of Republic Act No. 10625.
