Registered Marriages in the Region decreased by 5.6 percent
- There were 1,999 registered marriages for the 4th quarter of 2022 showing a decrease of 5.6 percent from the same quarter of last year’s figure of 2,111.
- The Province of Benguet excluding Baguio City has the most number of registered marriages, accounting for 28 out of every 100 marriages in the Region. Followed by Baguio City with 26 per 100 marriages.
- Across all provinces, Apayao decreased in the number of marriages registered at 91.5 percent from the 4th quarter of 2022 to the same period last year. This was followed by the province of Ifugao with 22.7 percent and Benguet with 18.9 percent.
- For this quarter, almost 23 marriages on the average were solemnized daily in the Region.
- Apayao has the fewest registered marriages in the Cordillera Administrative Region, accounting for five out of every ten marriages recorded.

Marriages Peak in December
- In the fourth quarter of 2022, registered marriages were mostly recorded in the month of December with 1,016 or 51 percent. Followed by the month of October with 528 registered marriages. Meanwhile, the least number of marriages in the Region were registered in November with 455 marriages.

The Majority of Marriages in the Region are Registered in Benguet
- Baguio City has the highest percentage of marriages recorded among the cities in the Region at 25.7 percent, City of Tabuk comes second with 7.3 percent.
- The majority of recorded marriages in the Region are in the province of Benguet. La Trinidad with 170, Itogon with 75, Tuba with 62 and Buguias with 45.

Abra has the most Municipalities with the least number of Registered Marriages
- As of the fourth quarter of 2022, the province of Abra has the most municipalities in the Cordillera Administrative Region with a low number of marriages registered, ranging from 1 to 5.
