WHEREAS, the Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) was established to provide direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities, and shall serve as the policymaking body on statistical matters in the region;

WHEREAS, one of the functions of the RSC is to strengthen the statistical capability of the local statistical system including the personnel thereof, and in so doing would acknowledge and commend the strengths, milestones and accomplishments of the regional and local statistical community;

WHEREAS, members of our statistical community had performed excellently in the most recent statistical activities on a national scale. The statistical events were:

1. 2^nd Philippine Statistics Authority Quiz Bee National Finals held at Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila last December 7, 2022. The PSA Quiz Bee is nationwide annual contest designed to test the knowledge of statistics of the Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) members in the 17 regions of the country;

2. 26^th Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) National Finals held at Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila last December 6, 2022. The PSQ is a nationwide annual contest designed to test the knowledge of statistics of freshman students enrolled in colleges and universities in the 17 regions of the country;

3. 32^nd National Statistics Month (NSM) Awards held during the 33^rd NSM Closing Ceremony Crowne Plaza Manila last October 28, 2022. The awards are given to acknowledge the outstanding participation of government agencies, regional offices, private sector, youth organizations, and local government units in the NSM celebration and to further encourage them to be more active in their involvement in the observance of future NSM celebrations; and

4. 15^th National Convention on Statistics (NCS) held at Crowne Plaza Manila Galería last October 3-5, 2022. The NCS is conducted every three years and provide a forum for exchanging ideas and experiences in the field of statistics and for discussing recent statistical developments and prevailing issues and problems of the Philippine Statistical System (PSS), as well as elicit cooperation and support of statisticians and professionals in related fields towards a more responsive PSS.
    

WHEREAS, these individuals represented the region outstandingly that merit commendations;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, BE IT:

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Regional Statistics Committee-Cordillera Administrative Region (RSC-CAR) recognizes and commends the winners of the 26th Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) National Finals, 2nd PSA Quiz Bee National Finals, 32nd National Statistics Month (NSM) National Awards, and the paper presenters during the 15th National Convention on Statistics.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that the Committee will award Certificates of Recognition to the following individuals and group:
