WHEREAS, RSC-CAR Resolution No. 4, series of 2017, in consonance with PSA Board Resolution No. 3, s. 2017, provided for the reconstitution of the RSC-CAR, while also providing that the Committee shall carry over the powers and functions provided for in PSA Board Resolution No. 5, s. 2015;

WHEREAS, on May 8,2018, PSA Board Resolution No.1 was approved, designating the PSA Regional Statistics Offices as Secretariat to the RSC and the Division Chief of the Statistical Operations and Coordination Division (SOCD) as the Secretariat head;

WHEREAS, the Cordillera Regional Statistics Development Program (CAR RSDP), approved by virtue of RSC-CAR Resolution No. 6, s. 2017, needs to be monitored and updated towards an inclusive and sustainable  growth in the Cordillera;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, BE IT:

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that RSC-CAR Resolution No. 4, series of 2017 be amended, to include the following among its provisions:

a) Officially designating the Philippines Statistics Authority-CAR as the RSC-CAR Secretariat , with the Division Chief of SOCD as the Head of Secretariat; and

b) Including the provision of guidance and direction in the preparation, monitoring and updating of the  Regional Statistical Development Program of CAR as a function of the RSC-CAR.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the RSC-CAR members disignate their respective permanent and alternate representative who can make desicions/commitments during RSC meetings in case they could not attend meetings, and submit names of designated representatives to the Secretariat/PSA-CAR
