WHEREAS, the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) through Resolution No. 1, Series of 1992 and NSCB Memorandum Circular No. 01-92 created the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee (RSCC) to provide direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities;
WHEREAS, the RSCC was organized in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) on March 19, 1992 to carry out this mandate;
WHEREAS, the RSCC-CAR mandate is carried out through the implementation of an annual Work Program;
WHEREAS, the RSCC-CAR Work Program covers four major statistical activities namely:

Support in the setting-up of a statistical one-stop shop and continuous statistical data banking

Design and implementation of Human Resource Development Program, and
-
Implementation of statistical advocacy through technical assistance to PSCCs and the CSCC and the celebration of the National Statistics Month (NSM);
WHEREAS, these activities, when implemented, will help address the statistical requirements for local and regional development;
WHEREAS, these four major statistical activities were translated into the detailed 1999 RSCC-CAR Work Program hereto attached and which forms part of this resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Committee members approve the 1999 RSCC-CAR Work Program.
