WHEREAS, the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) through Resolution No. 1, Series of 1992 and NSCB Memorandum Circular No. 01-92 created the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee (RSCC) to provide direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities;

WHEREAS, the RSCC was organized in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) on March 19, 1992 to carry out this mandate;

WHEREAS, the RSCC-CAR mandate is carried out through the implementation of an annual Work Program;

WHEREAS, the RSCC-CAR Work Program covers four major statistical activities namely:

  1. PreparatioSeptember 4, 2012i>

  2. Support in the setting-up of a statistical one-stop shop and continuous statistical data banking

  3. Design and implementation of Human Resource Development Program, and

  4. Implementation of statistical advocacy through technical assistance to PSCCs and the CSCC and the celebration of the National Statistics Month (NSM);

WHEREAS, these activities, when implemented, will help address the statistical requirements for local and regional development;

WHEREAS, these four major statistical activities were translated into the detailed 1999 RSCC-CAR Work Program hereto attached and which forms part of this resolution;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Committee members approve the 1999 RSCC-CAR Work Program.
