WHEREAS, the region needs direction and guidance in its statistical activities in oreder to address regional/local issues as well as national government concerns;

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 10625 (philippine Statistical Act of 2013) created the Philippine Statistics Authority(PSA) and mandated the PSA to implement policies on statistical matters and coordination, as directed by the PSA Board;

WHEREAS the PSA Board created the Regional Statistics Committee(RSC) thru Board Resolution No. 5 Series of 2015 to provide direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities;

WHEREAS, one of the major functions of the RSC is to institute measures to strengthen the statistical capability of the local statistical system by solving problems and issues peculiar to the area, and by setting priority on the statistical activities;

WHEREAS, as the highest policy making and coordinating body on statistical matters on the region, the RSC in the discharge of its functions to ensure that all statistical concerns are completely covered and properly addressed;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the Development Agenda for RSC-CAR for CY 2016 as here to attached;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Development Agenda shall be subject to periodic evaluation during the year;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copiesof this Resolution, 2016 Development Agenda attached, be forwarded to the Cordillera Regional Development Council(RDC) and concerned agencies for their information and appropriate action.
