WHEREAS,  one of the frameworks maintained by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is the System of National Accounts (SNA) which include the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP);

WHEREAS, the GRDP measures the total output of goods and services within a region and is an indicator of the region's economic performance;

WHEREAS , the GRDP estimates are valuable inputs in development planning, policy formulation and monitoring activities;

WHEREAS, the data needed in the GRDP estimation are gathered from the results of censuses and surveys of govemment offices, and administrative reports of govemment and private offices;

WHEREAS, the support of data sources from the govemment and private sectors in the region is important in coming up with accurate and reliable GRDP estimates of CAR;

WHEREAS, there is a need for PSA-CAR to collect and update its databank for the actual estimation of GRDP for CAR for the period 2014-2016;

WHEREAS, the PSA-CAR preserves the confidentiality of sensitive data through the release of aggregate estimates only;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Committee requests the Regional Line Agencies, Local Govemment Units and private sector to provide PSA-CAR with data needed for the estimation of the 2014-2016 CAR GRDP;
