The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Kalinga Provincial Statistical Office is inviting Local Government Units (LGUs), government agencies, private institutions, and other sectors to integrate with the National ID Authentication Services to enable faster, more secure, and efficient identity verification. This two-tiered authentication service simplifies the onboarding process, reduces fraud, and supports digital transformation in service delivery.

The authentication service offers two tiers: Tier 1 – Basic Online Authentication, ideal for low-risk transactions with a VERIFIED or NOT VERIFIED result plus basic details and Tier 2 – Electronic Know-Your-Customer (eKYC), which provides complete demographic information and a photo for seamless record integration and pre-filled forms.

Key benefits for various sectors include:

• Government Agencies (NGAs, LGUs, GOCCs, SUCs): Faster and more accurate service delivery, better program targeting, enhanced national security, streamlined business permitting, efficient tax collection, and improved access to community services.

• Employers and Companies: Faster employee onboarding and payroll processing, enhanced workplace security, prevention of illegal employment, secure online transactions, reliable age verification, and improved customer identification.

• Banks and Financial Institutions: Quicker account opening, easier KYC compliance, faster loan processing, stronger transaction security, and improved financial inclusion.

• Schools and Universities: Streamlined student enrollment, secure online learning access, and simplified scholarship or grant applications.
