22 SEPTEMBER 2023 – TABUK CITY, KALINGA. By co-locating their services, SWAD and PSA will work together to facilitate the registration of beneficiaries under the (PhilSys) in the province.

Representatives from PSA and SWAD recently met to discuss the logistics and implementation of the co-location strategy. Both agencies are committed to working closely together to ensure a seamless registration process for the residents of Kalinga.

Mr. Santiago B. Lucob, the Provincial Focal Person of PhilSys in PSO Kalinga, presented and discussed the rationale of the project with all the attendees. Afterwards, an open forum was conducted to plan for the said co-location of the two (2) agencies.

One of the agreed strategies is to set up a PhilSys Registration Kit (RegKit) inside the SWAD office, and one RegKit will be used for mobile registration during the scheduled field visits of the SWAD employees.

This collaborative effort underscores the government's commitment to improving public service delivery and fostering greater efficiency in reaching beneficiaries. It also aligns with the broader goal of PhilSys to provide a robust and secure identification system for all Filipinos.
