In the first quarter of 2024, the province of Kalinga registered a total of 338 deaths. The City of Tabuk recorded the highest number of deaths registered with 206 death occurrences or 60.95% of the total registered. On the other hand, the municipality of Tanudan had the lowest number of documented deaths with only 6 death occurrences followed by the municipality of Pasil with 11 death occurrences.

 

 

The month of January has the highest number of registered deaths with 139 in the 1st quarter 2024 followed by February with 110 and the least was March with 89 registered deaths.

More than half or 60.95 percent of the total number of registered deaths in Kalinga for the 1st Quarter 2024 were from City of Tabuk. The remaining 39.05 percent came from the seven municipalities of the province. Tanudan has the least with 1.78 percent of the total number of registered deaths in Kalinga.


In the province, 88 percent of the deaths were registered on time (275) compared to 12 percent (34) registered late.

In January 2024, there were more registered timely than late with 122 out of 139 registered. Tabuk City has higher number of registered timely than late with 89. Lubuagan, Pasil and Rizal have no registered late documents. Tanudan registered only one timely registration.

 

Higher rate of registered timely than late was observed in the month of Febryuary 2024. Lubuagan and Tinglayan has no late registered documents. Tanudan has no timely registration but with 3 late registrations.

 

Tabuk City has a higher number of timely registered documents compared to the other municipalities in the province. Lubuagan, Pinukpuk, Rizal and Tinglayan have no late registered documents.
