Baguio City - The National lD teams in the Region have been working diligently to include every Filipino in the National lD system. Consistent efforts have been made in the provinces to carry out registrations in schools, conduct mobile registration, partner with other agencies for co-location, and provide home service registrations for elderly individuals, bedridden patients, and persons with disabilities across various puroks of each barangay.

The Region has reached significant milestones, successfully registering a total of 1,494,863 individuals from May 2021 lo March 31, 2025. This achievement represents an impressive 83.16 percent of the population of 1,797,660, based on the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (CPH).

ln March, 13,088 new individuals were registered. The distribution of registrations across the provinces demonstrates our collective commitment: Abra recorded 2,079 individuals, Apayao 790, Benguet 3,564, lfugao 3,122, Kalinga 2,343, and Mountain Province 1,190.

ln addition to registrations, a total of 4,091 National lDs in paper form were issued. The breakdown of these issuances is as follows: 612 in Abra, 52 in Apayao, 1,380 in Benguet, 534 in lfugao, 754 in Kalinga, and 759 in Mountain Province. Registrants were also encouraged to download their digital National lD while awaiting their physical cards, as both formats provide the same validity and functionality.
