Baguio City — To strengthen inter-agency collaboration and bring services closer to the public, the Philippine Statistics Authority Cordillera Administrative Region conducted an orientation on 18 June 2025 with personnel from the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The session focused on the National ID Authentication system, PSA frontline services, and mobile outlet operations. Registration Officer III Cristeta E. Ngolob and Statistical Specialist II Emmalyn E. Equinio, CRS Baguio Outlet Supervisor, led the discussion.

During the activity, they discussed how the National ID Authentication system can be integrated into government transactions to simplify processes and enhance service delivery by making it faster and more secure. They also provided updates on the services available through PSA’s mobile and frontline units, including civil registration services and the issuance of civil registry documents.

RO III Ngolob emphasized the advantages of using the National ID for authentication, noting that it reduces the need to present multiple IDs and helps streamline both public and private transactions. She also highlighted how the PSA Mobile Outlet helps reach residents in far-flung areas who may have limited access to PSA services.

The National ID is designed to serve as a foundational digital ID for all Filipinos, aiming to improve service delivery, promote transparency, expand financial inclusion, and facilitate ease of doing business.

This initiative is part of PSA CAR’s ongoing efforts to promote wider adoption of the National ID and enhance cooperation with other agencies to improve the quality and accessibility of public services.
