PSA IFUGAO LAUNCHED A REHISTRO BULILIT CAMPAIGN AT BARANGAY BOLIWONG, LAGAWE, IFUGAO

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Ifugao successfully lunched the National ID: Rehistro Bulilit Campaign at Boliwong Elementary School Gymnasium, Lagawe, Ifugao on September 9, 2024. This initiative  is to increase the registration turnout of children aged one to four years old, all PSA Field Offices are instructed to conduct the "Rehistro Bulilit" Campaign. This campaign aims to encourage parents/guardians in their absence to register their children to the National ID System and ensure that they are aware and able to comply with the necessary supporting document/s to present during registration.

PhilSys Focal Person/Information Officer I Christine Mae Cariño and Registration Center Supervisor Jennifer C. Lunag coordinated with teachers and parents, inviting them and their students to participate in the campaign. IO I Cariño explained the main objectives of the campaign and the benefits of registering their children into PhilSys.

To make the registration process enjoyable and kid-friendly for the young registrants, games, nursery rhymes, and songs were played during the cmapaign. The kids were receive prizes for the games, snacks and loot bags as tokens for registering in the Philsys.During the launch, a total of 50 children are registered including 5 years old and above. As of September 11, 2024, 1, registrations have been recorded in Ifugao for children aged 1 to 4 893 out of 20,403 Population Below 5 Years Old based on 2020 CPH. Additionally, PSA-Ifugao has registered 155,166 individuals for Step 2 registration since its inception in 2021, with 100,154 PhilIDs delivered by PHLPost as of September 6, 2024, and 89,358 printed ePhilIDs delivered.

From October to December 2024, the campaign will be expanded to include all municipalities in Ifugao, focusing on barangays with the highest population of children under 5 years old who are potential registrants for PhilSys.
