PSA Ifugao Conducted Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Quiz Bee Provincial Elimination

05 February 2025, Lagawe – In celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Ifugao Provincial Office successfully conducted the Provincial Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Quiz Bee on 05 February 2025 at PSA Conference, G/F RTK Building, Dotal St., Corner Cuta Drive, Poblacion East, Lagawe, Ifugao. 

The CRVS Quiz Bee is an annual activity of the PSA - Civil Registration Service to strengthen its partnership with the different LCROs and an information campaign to disseminate its new business processes, policies, and procedures relating to civil registration and vital statistics as well as its new programs and projects.

The Provincial Elimination saw participation from PSA Ifugao staff and Municipal Civil Registrars (MCRs) and staff across Ifugao, who demonstrated their knowledge of civil registration laws, vital statistics, and the services provided by PSA. Winners of the provincial elimination will advance to the upcoming Regional Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Quiz Bee scheduled for 11 February 2025 in PSA RSSO CAR, Baguio City. The final stage of this month-long celebration will be the National Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Quiz Bee, which will take place on 28 February 2025 in PSA Headquarters (HQ), PSA Complex, East Avenue, Quezon City.

Among the participants, three outstanding contestants emerged victorious. They were lauded for their exceptional performance and dedication to their craft. 
Gertrude T Daguio – MCR of Banaue, earning her the top spot.
Ema N. Rafil - MCR of Hungduan and Arcelie A. Luzon OIC MCR of Alfonso Lista, the 2nd and 3rd placers respectively, showcased commendable knowledge and determination, further solidifying their commitment to excellence in Civil Registration.
