The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Mountain Province Provincial Office in coordination with the Bureau of Jail and Management Penology (BJMP) conducted an institutional registration for the Philippine Identification or National ID on October 19, 2023, at the Mountain Province District Jail, Caluttit, Bontoc.

Twenty- two Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) received their PhillDs while sixteen more were successfully registered. This brings to a total of 76 registered citizens in the province for the day with 4 operational registration kits. PSA Mountain Province continuously tries to reach out to all qualified unregistered citizens through its mobile registration scheme. Reaching out even to far flung barangays and conducting registration during Market days in selected municipalities.

Those who are not yet registered may opt to visit the Fixed Registration Center located at the Basement of the Municipal Capitol, Poblacion, Bontoc, Monday to Saturday, 8:00AM- 5:00PM. Bring original copy of birth certificate (PSA/NSO/LCRO copy), or any government issued ID with signature, birthdate, and ID picture or driver’s license or passport or UMID.
