PSA Benguet Information Officer I Zhein Carlo Molina explained the significance of National ID for students during the 35th Civil Registration Month activity on 07 March 2025 at the Easter College, Baguio City.

BAGUIO CITY – Easter College celebrated the 35th Civil Registration Month with the Philippine Statistics Authority Benguet, equipping their students with an understanding of the importance of their civil registry documents, as well as the National ID, held on 07 March 2025 at the Easter College Eugene Pucay, Sr. Gym.

As part of the discussions, the National ID System was promoted to emphasize the need and advantages of having valid proof of identity, which is free and easy to obtain and access.

Information Officer I Zhein Carlo Molina mentioned the registration status of Benguet and Baguio City, where it is continuous and increasing. With this, he encouraged students to register, for them to access private and public services, such as bank transactions, mobile payment services, scholarships, or financial assistance, among others.

Aside from the registration, he also discussed and urged students to avail of other services of the National ID, such as the Rehistro Bulilit, in case they have siblings aged one to four; Digital National ID, for those who already registered themselves in the system and still do not possess their National ID Card; Update on the demographic information in their National ID, in case their information registered has an error; National ID in paper form, in case they need a physical copy of their National ID; and Retrieval of Transaction Reference Number, in case their transaction slip was lost and they want to track the status of their National ID Card.

He invited students who are not yet registered in the National ID system to visit the registration centers located at the Municipal Gym of KM5, La Trinidad; Municipal Gym of Abatan, Buguias; Malcolm Square, Baguio City; Centermall, Baguio City; PSA Benguet Office, Baguio City; or PSA CAR Office, Baguio City.
