Tuba, Benguet- The Philippine Statistics Authority Benguet Provincial Statistics Office (PSA-Benguet) proudly awarded a Plaque of Recognition to the Municipality of Tuba for being the Top Municipality in achieving the highest number of successfully registered individuals and free birth certificates printed on Security Paper (SecPa) under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) from 2022 to 2024.
The awarding ceremony was held during the municipality's flag-raising event, attended by BRAP beneficiaries, municipal staff, and department heads. Leading the ceremony were Hon. Clarita P. Sal-ongan, Municipal Mayor of Tuba, and Glory Julita B. Paus, Municipal Civil Registrar.
PSA-Benguet commends the Municipality of Tuba for its commitment to ensuring that unregistered individuals gain access to legal identity through birth registration. This remarkable achievement highlights the municipality’s dedication to promoting inclusive civil registration services and safeguarding the right to identity for all its citizens.
The Birth Registration Assistance Project aims to provide free registration and SecPa-printed birth certificates to unregistered individuals, ensuring they can access essential services such as education, healthcare, and employment.
