Relative to the inspection and visitorial powers of the National Statistician and Registrar General (NSCRG), Section 11 of Republic Act (RA) No. 10625, the PSA is committed to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of civil registry operations for the continous improvement of public service. 

On March 18, 2025, the PSA Audit team composed of Registration Officer IV Gerard A. Tolito from the Regional Office, Chief Statistical Specialist Geoffrey B. Calimuhayan, Registration Officer II Joanna Lynne L. Castro, and Administrative Officer I Lennie-Ann B. Wamil of PSO-Apayao conducted  a thorough random check and audit at the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) in Calanasan, Apayao. The PSA is committed to support the local civil registry offices through periodic audits and checks, guaranteeing  the consistent quality of services provided to the public, and to maintain the integrity and reliability of vital records, benefitting the residents and stakeholders.
