PSA Apayao Hosts Successful "Rehistro Bulilit" Campaign for Children's National ID Registration
Cabatacan, Pudtol, Apayao – October 11, 2024 – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in Apayao, led by Chief Statistical Specialist Geoffrey B. Calimuhayan, proudly conducted the "Rehistro Bulilit" campaign on October 11. This vital initiative focused on registering children aged 1 to 4 years, a demographic that was previously excluded from the initial National ID Registration rollout. This marks the second time the office has conducted this important activity in the province.
The PhilSys Team played a crucial role in ensuring the inclusion of younger citizens in the national identification system. A total of 78 individuals were registered during the event, with 61 children aged 1 to 4, 6 aged 5 to 9, and the remaining participants aged 15 to 59.
The event brought joy to the children, who were delighted to receive simple gifts as a token of appreciation for their successful registration. In addition to the registration process, the team provided valuable services such as updating demographic information, issuing ePhil IDs, and offering assistance for the digital National ID.
This comprehensive approach reflects PSA's commitment to enhancing access and support for all members of the community.
