The Civil Registration Month is celebrated in February of every year pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 signed by the former President Corazon C. Aquino on 28 January 1991. This 34th annual celebration aims to remind the Filipinos of their duty to register acts and events concerning status of persons, enhance nationwide awareness, and appreciation of the legal, administrative, and statistical values of civil registry documents.

The Philippine Statistics Authority-Apayao conducted activities on gift giving, Birth Registration Assistance Project and National ID IAC at Aga Elementary School Aga, Pudtol, Apayao. It was participated by the school’s teachers, staff, and learners of the said school headed by Dr. Carolyn B. Tayamen. With February also known as the love month, the gift-giving features a delightful assortment of gifts chosen with love and care that brought smiles to the faces of the learners. These thoughtful presents, have been chosen with love and care. PSA Apayao and School Head Tayamen believe that a small gesture of sharing can make a big difference in the lives of these young individuals and their families.
