21, March 2025 — BANGUED, ABRA. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Abra Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) actively participated in two (2) community events in March 2025, bringing Civil Registration services and National ID mobile registration directly to the people. PSA Abra rendered these services during the 108^th Abrenian Kawayan Festival Job Fair held on March 4-5, 2025 at Abra Provincial Capitol and on March 6, 2025 at ASIST Gabaldon Building, and during the 2025 Laga Festival “Aldaw Para Kenni Lagayano” - Local Government and National Line Agencies Service Caravan on March 16, 2025 at Poblacion, Lagayan.

PSA Abra set up mobile registration booths in both events, providing the participants with convenient access to essential government services, recognizing the importance of accessible government services. During the Kawayan Festival Job Fair, attendees were able to avail of the services such as acceptance and issuance of requests for SECPA copies of Civil Registry documents and National ID registration, seamlessly integrating these services with the job fair's primary focus. This participation is aimed at streamlining access to essential documents of job seekers for their employment applications. PSA Abra also extended its services on Civil Registration and National ID to the Lagayan community during the 2025 Laga Festival One-Stop-Shop Caravan. This one-stop-shop approach was designed to bring various government services under one event and venue, allowing residents to efficiently address multiple needs in a single visit.

The presence of PSA Abra Provincial Statistical Office at the 108th Abrenian Kawayan Festival Job Fair and the 2025 Laga Festival One-Stop-Shop Caravan demonstrated its proactive approach in bringing its services closer to the public.
