PhilSys Co-location with DepEd: PhilID Registration and Birth Registration Assistance to Local Schools
In line with the advisory of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) regarding the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) co-location activities during the school enrollment period for school year 2023-2024, PSA Kalinga conducted both PhilID registration and provided Birth Registration Assistance (BRA) to the local schools. This collaboration is aimed at streamlining the registration process and ensuring that every eligible individual has access to these vital services.
The partnership between PSA and DepEd makes it easier for the community to register in PhilSys and avail of birth registration without having to travel long distances or face unnecessary hurdles. This collaborative effort serves a dual purpose: first, to accelerate the registration process for the PhilID, which is a critical step towards improving public service efficiency, financial inclusion, and effective implementation of government programs. Second, the Birth Registration Assistance Project seeks to facilitate birth registration for free.
At the heart of this partnership lies a vision of the highlights of synergy between government agencies in working towards shared goals that benefit the Filipino people. The co-location of PSA Kalinga services within school premises underscores the commitment to delivering efficient and citizen-centric services that contribute to the overall progress of the community.
PSA Kalinga also conducted Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) dissemination to the community nearby Magabbangon Elementary School, Cudal, Tabuk City with regards to the PhilSys project and other services offered by the office. The constituents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and visit the co-located registration centers to initiate their PhilID registration and birth registration processes.
