Philippine Service Anniversary kicks off in Apayao

Philippine Statistics Authority in Apayao joined the kick off celebration of the 124^th Philippine Service Anniversary spearheaded by the Civil Service Commission on September 2 with the theme: “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes”. Highlighting the Day-1 activity was the motorcade starting from Apayao By-Pass Road up to Luna Gym, Población where the program continued with zumba and program proper. All line agencies and local offices within Apayao participated during the kick off. Former Senator Emmanuel Pacquiao was the guest speaker although he relayed his message via video emphasizing that this celebration is a tribute to all government workers, and that we should be ready for changes and be equipped with skills. Hon. Kyle Mariah Chelsea B. Cunan, District 1 board member, delivered her message including the messages of Honorables Eleanor C. Bulut-Begtang and Elias C. Bulut, Jr., congresswoman and governor, respectively. Aside from thanking the unwavering commitment and dedication of public servants, their common message was to serve the people with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
