Tabuk City, Kalinga – In line with the commitment to ensure that every Filipino has access to the National Identification System, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Kalinga recently conducted a mobile registration for bedridden individuals in Barangay Dagupan Weste, Tabuk City.
Information Systems Analyst I (ISA1) Ian Decart Guidangen and Registration Assistant (RA) Mercy Grace Carbonel personally visited the residence of a bedridden senior citizen to facilitate the National ID registration. This initiative is part of PSA Kalinga’s effort to make the National ID registration process inclusive and accessible to all, particularly for those who are physically unable to visit registration centers.
Through this mobile registration service, individuals who are unable to travel due to health conditions can still exercise their right to official identification, ensuring their access to government and private sector services that require valid identification.
The PSA encourages families of bedridden individuals to coordinate with their respective barangay officials or PSA offices to arrange for mobile registration services. This effort underscores the agency’s dedication to the principle that no one should be left behind in the implementation of the National ID system.
