Baguio City – The 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) Celebration of the Philippine Statistics Authority Benguet last February 21 has been filled with inspiration and optimism as Pastor Roland Aliba from MidCity Church graced the event with a powerful message that resonates to each of the PSA Benguet employees’ heart.
Pastor Aliba encouraged the office employees to not only focus on their goals as public servants but also to strengthen their relationship with God. He emphasized that the theme for Civil Registration Month—building a resilient, agile, and future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System—should inspire them to also fortify their faith.
Meanwhile, Chief Statistical Specialist Imelda Buyuccan highlighted the importance of civil registration from birth, marriage, to death which plays a vital role in society. More so, she emphasized the office's crucial role in maintaining and securing vital event records, which establishes legal identities for individuals.
Along with the journey of PSA, it is a great recall that the employees should also journey with God, strengthening both their faith and relationship.
As part of the celebration, Statistical Specialist II Windelen Caballar discussed Agricultural Statistics, while Statistical Specialist II Maria Theresa Bagsangi talked about Establishment Survey Statistics.
The event is under Proclamation No. 682, s. 1991 “Declaring the Month of February of Every Year as Civil Registration Month” issued by then President Corazon C. Aquino dated January 28, 1991.
