
PSA - Ifugao with Kiangan LGU after presenting the 2024 CBMS preliminary results.
13 August 2025 – LAGAWE, IFUGAO. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Ifugao concluded yesterday the presentation of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) preliminary data to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Kiangan, represented by IT Designate Veralyn N. Ataman, PDO I Mia Marie P. Talosig, MPDC Jos Albert C. Aguana, and Stat. Charmaine P. Butata.
PSO - Ifugao CSS Delano C. Bolislis, Jr. warmly welcomed the Kiangan representatives, emphasizing the value of the meeting in providing vital insights and fostering meaningful discussions on the initial findings of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS). SrSS Bernadette B. Guledew presented an overview of PSA’s major undertakings, focusing on CBMS operations such as map preparation, Barangay Profile Questionnaire (BPQ) collection, Service Facilities and Government Projects (SFGP) listing, household data collection, and geotagging of facilities and projects. She also highlighted key statistics generated from the 2024 CBMS data, which addressed indicators from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) such as labor force, education, food security, access to water, sanitation, internet connectivity, and more. In addition, she unveiled the official results of the 2024 Population Census, declared through Proclamation No. 973 signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., and outlined the materials, documents, and preparations for the forthcoming handover of the final CBMS data to the Kiangan LGU. COSW - Syrene Mae T. Butticon further informed the participants about the Philippine Standard Industrial Classification and the Philippine Standard Geographic Classification.




Republic Act 11315 mandates PSA to lead CBMS implementation, aiming to reduce poverty and improve lives through local data for social protection planning.
