12 August 2025 – LAGAWE, IFUGAO. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Ifugao today concluded the presentation of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) preliminary data to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Alfonso Lista, represented by CBMS Focal Person Revelyn S. Fernandez, ADAS III Eleanor G. Lucas, PO III Brian B. Valdez, and AA II Jeny C. Asuncion, which also included the results of the 2024 Population Census declared through Proclamation No. 973 signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

To formally open the activity, Chief Statistical Specialist 
Delano C. Bolislis, Jr. welcomed guest participants from Alfonso Lista. He underscored the necessity of calling for this meeting to provide insights and facilitate informed discussion on initial findings in preparation for the turnover of final CBMS data to the LGUSs.

Senior Statistical Specialist Bernadette B. Guledew precided one of the presentations firstly on the major activities of PSA which is the CBMS operation such as map preparation and generation, Barangay Profile Questionnaire (BPQ) Collection and Service Facilities and Government Projects (SFGP) Listing, Household Data Collection and Geotagging of Service Facilities and Government Projects (SFGP).

SrSS Guledew presented key statistics generated from the 2024 CBMS data that were responsive to the indicators from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) such as labor force statistics, education, food security, access to water, sanitation and internet and others.

Republic Act 11315 provides the legal basis for PSA as lead agency in the implementation of CBMS. The aim is to alleviate poverty and improve the quality of life in the Philippines by establishing a system for collecting and analyzing data at the local level to inform planning and implementation of social protection programs.
