The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Kalinga successfully registered a total of 189,257 Filipino citizens, or 91.38% of the 207,110 target registrants, with the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) as of August 12, 2024. The PhilSys team was able to reached 108% of the weekly target output for the first week of August 2024 as a result of the National ID registration of uniformed personnel in the province.
In line with the use of a national ID for all transactions with the public and private sectors, yKalingas were urged to register and avail themselves of the said service. This includes children aged one year old and older. As the need arose, government agencies like Philippine National Police (PNP) at Camp Capt. Juan M. Duyan requested from the PSA Kalinga of in-house registration for its personnel. Similarly, the Bureau of Jail Management Penology (BJMP) Kalinga District Jail requested the office to conduct national ID registration for its personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
The PhilSys team also conducted a house-to-house National ID registration in Tabuk City to bring the public service closer to its people. This initiative has had a significant impact on encouraging individuals to register for PhilSys.
The office continuously encouraging individuals to register for National ID and the public may visit the PSA Kalinga fixed registration center located at 1st floor, GLIMz building, Purok 4, Balinag Street, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
The four easy steps in National ID registration are the following:
1. Go to the nearest registration center located in your area.
2. Present your supporting documents to the Registration Kit Operator (RKO).

3. Review and confirm your demographic and biometric information.
4. You will be issued a transaction slip containing your transaction reference number (TRN). Keep your transaction slip, as your TRN can be used to track your PhilID delivery and your ePhilID availability.
