The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Abra Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) personnel participated in the PNP Medical and Outreach Program organized by the 2nd Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) at Sitio Lagaosian, Cal-lao, Villaviciosa on 24 May 2024. The PSA Abra team included Registration Officer II (RO II) Guillermo B. Bermillo Jr., PhilSys Provincial Focal Person (PFP) Jonnel P. Aveño, Information Officer I (IO I) Angelee Ann B. Perez, Registration Kit Operator (RKO) Marc Lester L. Villamor, and PhilSys Driver Manjo A. Cueto. Representatives from the Villaviciosa Municipal Police Station (MPS), Local Government Unit (LGU) - Villaviciosa, National Government Agencies (NGAs), and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) also participated in the event, aimed at bringing services closer to the people in one of the most remote areas in the municipality.

The activity formally started with a prayer led by Pastor Elmo Salingbay, followed by the welcome remarks from Barangay Captain Jayson B. Belmes. Afterward, representatives from different agencies explained their mandates and services. RO II Bermillo expressed his gratitude to the 2nd PMFC for consistently inviting the agency to such activities. He informed the public that they could request SECPA documents, which would be processed at the PSA CRS outlet in Bangued, Abra, and delivered to them. Additionally, residents could avail of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Step 2 Registration Services. The PNP band performed an intermission song, and residents along with personnel from various agencies participated in a community dance. School supplies were distributed to the children, and food packs were provided to each head of family and senior citizens.

Throughout the program, various services were simultaneously rendered to the community. These included haircuts, manicures, pedicures, dishwashing liquid-making training, and medical and dental services. The PSA personnel accepted requests for SECPA copies of documents, conducted PhilSys Step 2 Registration, and delivered RTS PhilIDs. RO II Bermillo answered queries on Civil Registration while PFP Aveño addressed questions regarding PhilSys. The activity concluded with closing remarks from PNP LTCOL. Dickson K. Banes.
