The Municipal Civil Registrars of Benguet and Baguio City, along with PSA Benguet personnel, attentively listen to every issue and concern during the discussion of the Memorandum Circulars.

September 5, 2024–– Baguio City. The Association of Baguio-Benguet Civil Registrars (ABBCR) convened a productive meeting today at the Conference Hall of PSA Benguet, 3rd floor, Unique Printing Press Building, M. H. Del Pilar corner, Legarda, Baguio City. The meeting focused on critical updates and guidelines concerning civil registry procedures, ensuring efficient and accurate service delivery to the public.

 

The ABBCR members engaged in a comprehensive discussion centered around three key memoranda:

  •    Memorandum Circular No. 2020-12A – Amendment to Memorandum Circular No. 2020-12 dated 06 July 2020 re: "Peacemeal/ Advance copy of the Civil Registry Documents through Electronic Endorsement": This amendment clarifies procedures for the electronic endorsement of civil registry documents, streamlining the process and enhancing efficiency.

 

  •    Memorandum Circular No. 2024-14 – Submission of the Supporting Documents for the 80 years Old and Above Registrants under Birth Registration Assistance Project: This circular outlines the necessary supporting documents required for birth registration assistance for individuals aged 80 and above, ensuring a smooth and accessible process for this vulnerable population.

 

  •   Memorandum Circular No. 2024-17 – Additional Guidelines for Delayed Registration of Birth: This memorandum provides updated guidelines for delayed birth registration, addressing common challenges and ensuring fair and equitable access to vital records for all.

The meeting provided a platform for open dialogue and knowledge sharing among ABBCR members, ensuring a unified understanding and implementation of these crucial updates. The association remains dedicated to upholding the highest standards of service delivery and ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of civil registry records for all citizens.
