2023 1^ST QUARTER REGISTERED DEATHS IN KALINGA

The number of registered deaths in the province of Kalinga for the first quarter of 2023 summed up to 309. The City of Tabuk has the highest death registered with 188 death occurrences or 60.84% of the total registered. Municipality of Tanudan recorded the least number of documented deaths with only 4 death occurrences followed by the municipalities of Pasil, Lubuagan, Tinglayan and Balbalan with 11, 14,16 and 17 death occurrences respectively.

The month of January has the highest number of registered deaths with 124 in the 1^st quarter 2023 followed by February with 94 and the least was March with 91 registered deaths.

More than half or 60.84 percent of the total number of registered deaths in Kalinga for the 1^st Quarter 2023 were from City of Tabuk.  The remaining 39.16 percent came from the 7 municipalities of the province.  Tanudan has the least with 1.29 percent of the total number of registered deaths in Kalinga.

In the province, 89 percent of the deaths registered on time (275) compared to 11 percent (34) registered late.

In January 2023, there were more registered timely than late with 115 out of 124 registered.  Tabuk City has higher number of registered timely than late with 70.  Balbalan, Lubuagan, Rizal and Tinglayan have no registered late documents.  Same number of documents registered timely and late for Tanudan.

Higher rate of registered timely than late was observed in the month of February 2023.  Pinukpuk has no late registered documents.  Balbalan, Lubuagan, Pasil, Rizal and Tinglayan have only 1 late registered document.  Tanudan have neither late or timely registered document.

Among the eight (8) city/municipalities of the province, Tabuk City has higher number of registered timely than all the other municipalities.  Tanudan did not register neither timely or late document.  It is observed that Balbalan and Pasil have no late registered document.
