2023 1ST QUARTER REGISTERED BIRTHS IN KALINGA
The number of registered births in the province of Kalinga for the first quarter of 2023 summed up to 1,626. The City of Tabuk has the highest birth registered with 1072 birth occurrences or 65.93% of the total registered births for the 1st quarter 2023. Municipalities of Pasil recorded the least number of documented births with 29 birth occurrences followed by the municipalities of, Balbalan and Tanudan with 37 and 38 birth occurrences respectively.
The month of March recorded the highest number of registered births with 589 in the 1st quarter 2023 followed by January with 579 and the least was February with 458 registered births.
Almost two-thirds or 65.93 percent of the total number of registered births in Kalinga for the 1st Quarter 2023 were from City of Tabuk. The remaining 34.07 percent came from the 7 municipalities of the province. Pasil have the least with 1.78 percent of the total number of registered live births in Kalinga.
In the province, more than half (56.56 percent) of the babies born were registered on time (918) compared to 43.54 percent (708) registered late.
In January 2023, there were more registered timely than late with 331 out of 579 registered. Tabuk City has higher number of registered timely than late with 288. The municipalities of Balbalan, Lubuagan, Pinukpuk, Rizal and Tinglayan have higher number of registered late than timely. Pasil and Tanudan has not recorded timely registration.
Higher rate of registered timely than late was observed in the month of February 2023. All municipalities except Tabuk City, Pasil and Rizal have higher number of registered late than timely. Pasil has same number of registration for timely and late.
Among the eight (8) city/municipalities of the province, Tabuk City and Rizal have higher number of registered timely than late registration. There is no registered timely in the municipality of Tanudan.
