Baguio City – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has successfully registered the biometric data (Step 2 Registration) of over 1.4 million Filipinos and resident aliens throughout the region with the National Identification (ID) registry as of July 2024.
From May 31, 2021 to July 31, 2024, 1,425,638 registrants were enrolled at the different registration centers in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). These comprise 87.32 percent of the 1,632,709 target registrants. The number of registered individuals by province is displayed in the table below.

The various registration teams by province have the following rates: Abra – 87.18 percent of the 230,488 target. With 112,768 as the target, Apayao accounted for 94.71 percent. Benguet attained 87.04 percent of its target of 751,446. Ifugao has reached 82.43 percent of the 186,706 target, while Kalinga has achieved 91.15 percent of the 207,110 target. Meanwhile, Mountain Province completed 84.02 percent of its 144,191 target.
Data from the Philippine Postal Corporation indicates that as of April 30, 2024, 963,096 National ID cards had been distributed to recipients. Furthermore, 1,044,698 National ID in paper format had been issued by the PSA as of April 30, 2024.
