Baguio City – In the continuing implementation of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) in Cordillera, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) successfully registered the biometric data (Step 2 Registration) of more than 1.1-M Filipinos and resident aliens across the region.

According to the PSA, provincial and mobile registration centers have successfully registered a total of 1,185,061 registrants from the 31st of May 2021 to the 31st of December 2022. These comprise 55.29 percent of PSA’s 2021 - 2022 target in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).The table shows the number of registered individuals by province.

Per data from the Philippine Postal Corporation (PhilPost), 154,809 PhilID cards have been delivered to recipients as of January 06, 2023. The PSA also delivered 715,191 printed ePhilIDs as of February 19, 2023. In total, 870,000 PhilIDs and ePhilIDs are delivered which comprise (73.41%) of the PhilSys registered persons in CAR from May 31, 2021 to, December 31, 2022.
