This report summarizes the data gathered from July to September 2021 documents submitted from the local civil registry offices of the eleven municipalities in the province of Ifugao. The number of vital events in Ifugao for the 3rd quarter reached 1,491 registered documents. This represents 4.93 % increase from the 1,421 registered vital events from the previous quarter. The province generated the following statistics: 912 for birth, 262 for marriage and 308 for death.
 
In this July to September 2021 issue, the Philippine Statistics Authority of Ifugao presents the number of births, marriages, and deaths registered by municipalities in the province. The data are preliminary result from the Decentralized Vital Statistics System 2011 based on the documents submitted by the Local Civil Registry Offices in Ifugao.
 
Birth Statistics
 
Registered live births decreased by 1.30 percent
 
The number of registered live births in the province of Ifugao in the 3rd quarter 2021 totaled to 921, lower by 1.29 percent from 933 registered live births in the 2nd quarter 2021.
 
Lamut remained top registered live births in the 3rd quarter 2021
 
Among the 11 municipalities in the province, Lamut still recorded the most number of births in the province of Ifugao for the 3rd quarter of 2021 with 289, higher by 4.33 percent from 277 total registered births in the 2nd quarter 2021. Lamut is the location of the government hospital in Ifugao which is the Panopdopan District Hospital, hence, a high number of registered births were recorded. Other municipalities with high number of registered births are Alfonso Lista with 185 births and distantly behind are Lagawe with 75, Banaue with 70 and Mayoyao with 63 births.
 
Meanwhile, the municipality of Hingyon had reported still the least number of births in the province with 12 or 1.30 percent of the total registered births.

Most Babies were Born of Married Mothers

In the 3rd quarter of 2021, out of 921 registered live births in the province there were about 65.91 percent, or 607 births were legitimate, higher by 0.83 percent from 602 total legitimate registered births in the 2nd quarter 2021. Only 34.09 percent or 314 births were born out of wedlock, lower by 5.14 percent from 331 registered live births in the 2nd quarter 2021.

More Males were Born than Females
 
Registered births for males have 492 births or 53.42 percent, higher by 3.58 percent from 475 registered males in the 2nd quarter 2021. Registered births for females have 429 births or 46.58 percent for females, lower by 6.33 percent from 458 total registered births for females in the 2nd quarter 2021.

Most Births were Registered on Time
 
Out of 921 registered births in the province, there were about 74.81 percent or 689 births registered on time, and only 25.19 percent or 232 births were registered late.

Marriage Statistics
 
Banaue recorded the highest registered marriages for the 3rd quarter 2021
 
In the 3rd quarter of 2021, a total of 261 registered marriages occurred in the province of Ifugao, higher by 20.28 percent from the 217 registered marriages in the 2nd quarter of 2021.
 
Banaue the highest number of registered marriages with 95 couples which comprised of 36.40 percent of the total marriage registered. It was followed by Alfonso Lista with 30 marriages which comprised 11.49 percent of the total registered marriages in the province. Distantly behind are Lamut and Aguinaldo with 27 & 24 registered marriages respectively. On the other hand, Mayoyao posted the lowest with only 5 or 1.94 percent of the registered couples.

Death Statistics
 
Alfonso Lista recorded the highest registered deaths for the 3rd quarter 2021
 
A total of 308 deaths recorded in the province of Ifugao for the 3rd quarter of 2021, higher by 13.65 percent from 271 registered deaths of the 2nd quarter 2021. The highest death occurrences happened in the municipality of Alfonso Lista with 82 deaths which comprised 26.62 percent of the total number of deaths. Lamut registered 71 deaths which comprised 23.05 percent of the total registered deaths. Trailing behind are Banaue with 35, Kiangan with 19 the same registered from Aguinaldo, and Tinoc with 18 registered deaths
 
Meanwhile, Hingyon & Asipulo are lagged behind at the bottom track with 8 or 2.06 percent registered deaths respectively.
 
 
 
More Male Died than Females
 
In the 3rd quarter of 2021, there were about 164 or 53.25 percent registered deaths for males and only 144 or 46.75 percent for females. This indicates that more males had died than females.
 
Most Deaths were Registered on Time
 
In the 3rd quarter of 2021, out of 308 registered deaths in the province there were about 89.29 percent or 275 deaths were registered on time and only 10.71 percent or 33 deaths were registered late.

The province of Ifugao received a total of 1,491 registered documents for the 3rd quarter of 2021, higher by 4.93 percent from 1,421 total registered documents of the 2nd quarter 2021. The municipality of Lamut has the highest documents received with a total of 387 or 25.96 percent. It was followed by the municipalities of Lamut with 297or 19.92 of the total documents. Distantly behind are Banaue with 200, Lagawe with 106 and Tinoc with 100. Meanwhile, the least municipality received was still Hingyon with only 27, lower by 37.04 percent from 37 total documents in the previous quarter.
 
 
528 Documents or 35.41 percent of the total Documents were from the Month of September
 
Of the 1,491 registered documents received in the province for the 3rd quarter 2021, 528 or 35.41 percent were recorded in September. On the other hand, the month of July recorded the least with 473 documents or 31.72 percent.
