WHEREAS, the Republic Act No. 10625 directs the Philippine Statistics Authority to coordinate the formulation of the Philippine Statistical Development Program (PSDP) and the PSA Regional Offices to facilitate the preparation of the Regional Statistical Development Program (RSDP);
WHEREAS, with the formulation of the Cordillera Administrative Region Regional Development Plan (CAR RDP) 2023-2028, which defines the policies, strategies, and programs to be carried out to achieve the goals of the new administration in the next six years, the CAR RSDP 2023-2029 will be prepared;
WHEREAS, the CAR RSDP 2023-2029 shall lay out the statistical development programs and activities covering statistical management and coordination, data production and dissemination, human resource development, research and development, and resources in the regional statistical system for the next six years;
WHEREAS, the successor plan shall be the companion document and address the needed data support and statistics in the implementation and monitoring of the CAR RDP 2023-2028;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, BE IT:
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Regional Statistics Committee-Cordillera Administrative Region (RSC-CAR) enjoins all government agencies, local government units, academe, and civil society organizations in CAR to support the formulation of CAR RSDP 2023-2029;
RESOLVED FURTHER, the regional line agencies, local government units, and other institutions will accomplish the RSDP 2023-2029 Form 1. Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) Analysis and RSDP 2023-2029 Form 1.2 Situational Analysis, and identify their programs, activities and projects (PAPs) to be included in the CAR RSDP 2023-2029 by accomplishing the RSDP 2023-2029 Form 2 Issues, Innovations and Data Needs.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that PSA-CAR will consolidate all submissions and convene meetings and workshops for the preparation of the CAR RSDP 2023-2029 and present the final plan for approval of the Committee and for endorsement to the CAR Regional Development Council (RDC);
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned.
