WHEREAS, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) Regional Statistical Development Program (RSDP) is the blueprint for statistical development in the region and envisions a responsive, effective and efficient regional and local statistical system that delivers quality statistics, products and services for evidence-based decision and policy-making towards inclusive and sustainable growth of the Cordillera;
WHEREAS, that the CAR RSDP 2017-2023 was formulated in accordance with the guidelines provided by the PSA Board and prepared in coordination and in consultation with RSC members, regional line agencies, local government units, and other stakeholders;
WHEREAS, the first draft of the CAR RSDP 2017-2023 was presented and approved by the Committee through RSC-CAR Resolution No. 06 series of 2017 dated 29 August 2017, and the revised CAR RSDP 2017-2023 was approved and adopted by through RSC-CAR Resolution No. 1 series of 2018 dated 26 February 2018;
WHEREAS, as part of the monitoring and updating of the RSDP, after three years of plan implementation, a midterm assessment shall be conducted to review the achievements of the programs and projects enlisted in the CAR RSDP 2017-2023 and the subsequent updating of the statistical development programs and activities of to be conducted in the region;
WHEREAS, RSC-CAR Resolution No. 1 series of 2021 dated 3 February 2021 approved and prescribed the forms for the monitoring (CAR RSDP Monitoring Report Form 1 Series of 2021- ANNEX RCR-01-20210203-01) and updating (CAR RSDP Form 1.1 (Updates) - ANNEX RCR-01-20210203-01) of the CAR RSDP;
WHEREAS, the submitted accomplished CAR RSDP forms were consolidated and presented during the workshop with regional line agencies, local government units, academe, and other stakeholders on 17 August 2021 where the report and matrices were finalized;
NOW THEREFORE, RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Regional Statistics Committee-CAR approves and adopts the Cordillera Administrative Region Regional Statistical Development Program (RSDP) 2017-2022 Update;
RESOLVED FINALLY, that the concerned agencies are enjoined to assign staff to be the RSDP Focal Person in charge of monitoring and reporting of accomplishments and/or updates on their statistical programs to PSA-CAR;
